Winchester Cathedral Wedding Photography
Beth and Cory
Beth and Cory’s wedding was such a treat for us to photograph! It’s not often that we get to photograph a wedding somewhere as stunning as Winchester Cathedral!! Imagine being the bride and having to walk down an aisle that is 110m long!! Of course, Beth took it all perfectly in her stride, and looked beautiful in her über-stylish two piece wedding dress from The Bridal Lounge set off beautifully by her hand-tied bouquet with long, flowing ribbons.
Even with the stunning grandeur of getting married in Winchester Cathedral, Beth and Cory had such a relaxed and fun wedding. Their reception was held in a big marquee at the Greyhound on the Test in Stockbridge – a beautiful country hotel and pub, which, as the name suggests is located on the banks of the river Test. It was an idyllic spot for a wedding reception and a perfect setting for us for taking photos!
Beth and Cory also had lots of wonderfully quirky little details at their wedding which are always great fun for us to photograph. We particularly loved the red London bus for the guests, the cheese wheel wedding cake and the fantastic coloured paper lanterns decorating the roof of the marquee. All in all it was a perfect day and we had so much fun photographing it.
..and we certainly won’t forget hearing the organ in Winchester Cathedral belting out the theme tune to Star Wars as the bride and groom left the ceremony. I bet it’s not often you hear that!!
Congratulations again to Beth and Cory and thank you for letting us share some of the images from your wedding on our blog. It really was an absolute pleasure photographing your wedding!
